500 server error

hello, i installed seo componenet i did n't enable the seo in global configuration and i didn't enable seo component by mistake i changed the htaccess.txt to .htaccess after that i again renamed it as htaccess.txt after that i am unable access the backend when iam trying to open the backend it is showing error like this 500 server error "The web server encountered an error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. If this error persists, please contact the webmaster, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error." please help me to overcome this problem

SEO Component Problems

If you are using OpenSEF for your SEO component then nothing should be wrong. If you don't turn on the component and you don't turn on SEF URLs in Joomla Core you should be fine. That still brings us to the point that you are getting a 500 server error. Are you sure you renamed the file and didn't copy it? If you still have a misconfigured .htacces file on your server you will have problems. double check that first.
